The Team Pittsburgh travel season is well underway. We have had many successes so far. The Knights, our "Beaver" team, won the National Championship in the "B" division in Leominster MA over the Memorial Day weekend. The Gods, our "Freshman" team, won the Mid West Regional tournament In Penn Hills in April. In the same tournament, The Team Pittsburgh Saints, our "Cadet" team, finished second to Bellmawr NJ , losing in overtime.

Upcoming is the Maple Leaf Cup in Niagara Falls Canada. The Knights team compete the July 11,12 and 13 and the Sharks, Saints, Snipers, Rage and Gods all compete July 25,26 and 27.

Team Pittsburgh also has placed 7 Freshman players from the God's on the USA national team who is representing the U.S. in the Junior World Championships in Newfoundland Canada. We joined together with players from Massachussetts and New jersey. The team is coached by Mark Madden and assisted by our own Cory Herschk. The games start June 25th when the U.S. faces off against Italy and later that day against Canada. You can follow the action at http://www.wjc08.com/.
